Visitor CenterThe Daniel Boone Homestead's visitor center is open to the public free-of-charge and houses the information & ticket desk, gift shop, various exhibits, an orientation video, and restrooms.
Exhibition Area The visitor center’s exhibition area features several exhibits that focus specifically on Daniel Boone’s life and several displays of artifacts depicting 18th-century life in the Oley Valley. This area also includes a 15-minute orientation video, The Life and Times of Daniel Boone, providing an overview of Boone’s life after leaving Pennsylvania. Gift Shop The gift shop sells a variety of merchandise including 18th-century toys and games, t-shirts, hats, fur tails and pelts, and a wide assortment of books on Daniel Boone, the Oley Valley, and 18th-century life. |
